Join us on the Cooking Stage for Cookie Decorating with Royal Icing presented by Erika Miller Owner, Raleigh Cookies LLC.
Having a creative outlet is a magical thing. When that creative outlet becomes your job, something special happens. Erika is fortunate to have turned her love of baking and passion for art into a product that makes people smile. How can cookies not make you smile?! Erika is self taught baker who has been creating in the kitchen for as long as she can remember. She has always loved the look of decorated sugar cookies, but not always how they tasted. No matter how beautiful a cookie is, if it doesn't taste good-what is the point? She was determined to change this. She began making custom decorated cookies for my boys when they were young. Friends began asking me to do the same. Soon, friends of friends began reaching out and the rest is history. Raleigh Cookies was born solely on word of mouth recommendations and she is so proud to have such a loyal client base that has developed this way.
Throughout her journey, this is what she has learned. Cookies CAN be beautiful and taste good."
