Laurie Hernandez

Olympic Gymnast, Laurie Hernandez, a Silver and Gold medal winner in Rio, will be appearing at the Show on Thursday, October 12, presented by Florida Dairy Farmers. Laurie, who is just 17 years old, is known for her dazzling floor exercise routine, where she has been nicknamed the "human emoji" for her outgoing facial expressions and for her grace and artistry on the balance beam. Patti LaBelle

Patti LaBelle is known for her classic rhythm and blues renditions, pop standards and spiritual sonnets. The soulful songbird has taken her tunes to the kitchen where she published five best-selling books and introduced Patti’s Good Life, a successful line of food products that features a variety of sauces, sweet potato pie and cakes. Her success in the kitchen landed her starring in cooking specials on the Cooking Channel and the Food Network. In addition to her entertainer and entrepreneurial achievements, Patti is also an advocate for adoption, foster care, Big Sisters and the United Negro College Fund, among many other initiatives, and also became a spokesperson for the American Diabetes Association shortly after being diagnosed.

Elaine Duran

Elaine Duran, from TLC’s The Next Great Baker and Food Network's Cake Wars, will appear on the Spotlight Stage Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13 at 11:30am and 2:30pm. While competing in TLC’s The Next Great Baker, she won a competition that landed her signature dessert into Carrabba’s Restaurants across the nation. She has since authored a cookbook and, most recently, an inspirational booked titled, “You’re Next! Turn Your Disappointment Into Destiny,” which tells of her personal story and chronicles her journey of becoming one of America’s favorite bakers. Join the vivacious baker as she shares inspiring tips on how to turn your struggles into the life you long for.

Juliana Evans

Dessert blogger, Juliana Evans of Graciously Sweet has been baking since the age of 2. What started as a hobby that she enjoyed with her mother has now transitioned into her full time job and a bond she shares with her four daughters. She is passionate about baking, specifically how to bake with love and get children involved in the kitchen.  Along with the title of reigning Ghirardelli Ultimate S'mores Champion, Juliana was most recently seen on The Food Network’s Cake Wars. After participating in The Food Network's Spring Baking Championship, she continues to find herself in the “contesting” world and loves competing and designing delicious dessert recipes. She was recently named in the Top 10 in the World Food Championship. You may also find her face familiar from appearances on the Food and Lifestyle segments on WESH 2 News and The Today Show. Juliana will be joining us all four days of the show as the host of the Cooking Stage. Gracie Evans

Gracie Evans, daughter of dessert blogger Juliana Evans, will also join us for a stage appearance on Saturday, October 14 at 3:30pm. You may recognize Gracie from The Food Network’s Star Kids where she competed on the junior version of Food Network Star. Don't miss her kid-friendly cooking demonstration that you AND your children can bring to your very own kitchen.

The Roaming Gourmet Ze’ Carter

Founder and Director of Kitch’n Lyfe Skill, Inc., Chef Ze’ is passionate about food and cooking.  The organization is dedicated to reducing the occurrences of food insecurity among youth who have aged out of foster care, at risk school aged children and the elderly. Through teaching and hands on instruction, Chef Ze’ has been on a mission to bring her passion to others. For over a decade people in Central Florida have sought her out for ways to enliven their culinary and eating experiences, and many of her dishes and desserts have won awards. For the last eight years she has been a food columnist for the Daily Commercial, which is part of the Halifax Media Group. She has given private instruction to people of all ages. Many find her classes are an immersive, interactive experience where she learns from the students and the students learn from her. Together, she believes fantastic recipes are being created along with a renewed joy to the culinary experience and brining people back together around the table.

Chris Lowe has spent the last 17 years in the health and fitness industry and she is the mastermind behind the newest fitness program in the U.S. called PowerHoopz Fitness System.
