MOTHER DAUGHTER DAY

See What Happened at the 2016 Southern Women's Show!

Sunday is Mother Daughter Day

Bring the important women in your life, and enjoy a day of pampering, shopping, and entertaining together! This day is in honor of mothers and daughters of all ages.

Sing-A-Long with the Snow Sisters

Bring your little princesses for a magical sing-a-long with The Snow Sisters brought to you by Once Upon a Party. They will be appearing on the Fashion and Entertainment Stage on Sunday September 18th. Bring your cameras for an opportunity to meet and pose for pictures with the Snow Sisters.

Hoop Off

Who didn’t hula hoop as a kid? Well, the hula hoop has been transformed into the Powerhoop and it is the new exercise routine. It’s time for mothers and daughters to show us your moves! Join us on the Main Fashion Stage on Sunday, September 18 for an impressive Mother-Daughter Hula Hoop Contest!

Be Beautified at the Braid Bar

Channel your inner Elsa from Disney’s Frozen at the Braid Bar hosted by Blo Blow Dry Bar at the Main Fashion Stage on Sunday, September 18. Be an “it girl” with a braid like Elsa or a braided style from your own inspiration. The $5 special is only available on Mother Daughter Day, but visit their exhibit space all four days of the show to learn more about their stylish blow outs and beauty services.

Get Creative on Mother Daughter Day

Art A-Go-Go provides art pARTies, moms’ paint nights, summer camps and art classes in your home or their studio. Jill, the art teacher and mother of three, believes people can make a difference in this world through art. Join her on the Spotlight Stage on Sunday, September 18 at 1:30pm for a Mother Daughter Art Activity. Come create a mother and baby bird picture made from pen and ink. The activity is suitable for all skill levels.  All the materials necessary to complete the project will be provided and you get to take home your creation. You can also visit Art A-Go-Go in exhibit space # 134 all four days of the show for additional crafts and to learn more about art pARTies, summer camps and art lessons.
