She made it to the final round in Nashville during the nationwide search for Season Nine of Masterchef.
Being a Southern girl at heart, she has always loved eating good food and watching her mom and grandmother cook in the kitchen. Leading a sedentary lifestyle and developing poor eating and cooking habits lead her to become overweight and riddled with chronic illnesses for most of her life.
Once she began her wellness journey, she learned how to cook and transform her favorite foods by developing healthier recipes. After doing much research, she found that eating healthier didn't have to fall into what she calls as the 3B Myth...bland, boring or a budget buster as she wrote in her ebook, "How to Shop and Eat Healthy on a Budget."
Catch her on the cooking stage Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a healthy demonstration and samples.
