Chef Lisa Brooks

Lisa has been in the kitchen since she was a little girl. She grew up cooking typical southern foods at her mother’s side. Cooking has always been a passion of hers, and feels that being a chef was her true calling in life. Lisa is a Certified Culinarian by the American Culinary Federation and has earned an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts from Central Piedmont Community College. She and her husband, Ken, own and cook beside six other chefs at her personal chef service in Charlotte, NC. Her specialties include southern American, Cajun/Creole, Caribbean and Vegetarian cooking. She won the Moore & Van Allen MVA Bowl Cooking Competition in 2012 and recently appeared on Guy's Grocery Games on The Food Network.

Monica Smith

Chef Monica Smith is a native of Gastonia, NC and proud mother of three kids. She is a charismatic TV/Stage personality who knows how to engage her audience when talking about all things food.  Chef Monica’s #Eat2Livelonger Campaign inspires families to gather at the kitchen table to eat meals that are more farm-to-fork based, and create a healthy eating sustainable lifestyle. Chef’s inspires others with her personal mission and quote; “join me in bringing families back to the table”.
 
Chef can be seen in the Charlotte, NC Region on WBTV-CHARLOTTE/BounceTV, FOX 46 Charlotte and WCNC-NBC TV Charlotte Today Show. She has been a Chef Competitor on Food Network Show Guy’s Grocery Games, Cutthroat Kitchen and a guest on Chef Jeff Henderson’s Flip My Food. Chef Monica entertains her guests on local and national cooking stages throughout the year. She host a number of cooking classes for youth, hospice survivors, and families of all backgrounds. Chef Monica is an advocate for Suicide Prevention, and the Battered Women’s Shelter in Gastonia; a major resource for protecting women and children of Domestic Violence.

Chef Bruce Rowland

Chef Bruce Rowland is the Executive Chef/Owner Rowland Fine Dining in Richmond, Virginia. A gourmet restaurant with an international flare. Named one of “Richmond’s Top 10 Best New Restaurants in 2006” by The Richmond Times Dispatch.

 Chef Rowland is a self starter with attention to details, he excels in customer services, and has strong organizational skills and leadership demonstrating creativity in menu design. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.

 Chef Rowland’s Professional Experience includes Adjunct professor in culinary arts at J. Sargent Reynolds community college in Richmond Virginia. Hana’s in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina which in 2001, in competition with other top flight regional chefs, won the Grand Award of the Renaissance Gala event in Myrtle Beach. S.C. Executive Chef / Director of Food and Beverage Monte Carlo Inc, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Executive Chef of the Louisiana Purchase in Banner Elk, North Carolina. A gourmet Restaurant and 6 year recipient of “Wine Spectator” award of excellence.
