She will demonstrate how to ‘Cook Once & Eat Twice with Beef’ so you can save time in the kitchen preparing meals by using a nutritious and delicious cut of beef and making it stretch over several meals.

Jess Rice

Chef Rice is an advocate of the plant based lifestyle and taught nutrition classes through Metro Nashville Community Education Commission.  in 2015, she opened Avo and was recognized as the Best new restaurant in Nashville Scene’s reader poll. She is currently in process of opening her second restaurant – Morel which will feature locally grown and organic ingredients.  Jess has prepared food for celebrities like Neil Young, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and now you at the Southern Women’s Show!

A Taste of Tennessee

Tammy Algood, Marketing Specialist with the TN Department of Agriculture will share recipes featuring fresh Tennessee ingredients. Tammy is the author of five cookbooks and writes a weekly column in the Tennessean.

Cake Decorating Contest

Juanita Lane, founder and executive pastry chef at Dulce Desserts, left her corporate job in 1994 to find her true calling and a sweet calling in turned out to be.  Juanita incorporated her love of homemade Southern scratch cooking with the culinary traditions of European bakeries to develop the artisanal decadence of Dulce Desserts.  Be prepared to be dazzled as Juanita shares tips for decorating with buttercream

Meryll Rose

We are pleased that Meryll Rose, host of NewsChannel 5's Talk of the Town will be part of the festivities on the Kroger Cooking Stage. She’ll join Ann Cox Estes for some tasty recipes featuring Summer Flavors from the Kroger Kitchen.

Savor New American Cuisine

Executive Chef Kerri Roach has been the executive chef at Nashville’s Hutton Hotel and 1808 Grille restaurant since October 2016. Prior to joining the award winning team at 1808 Grille, Chef Roach served as the executive chef at BOKA Restaurant + Bar at the Hotel 1000 in Seattle for more than seven years. She will share her recipe for Green Tomato Chow Chow as well as Chicken and Dumplings on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Eric Zizka has been named executive chef of the new Oak Steakhouse Nashville.  Zizka’s love for the industry began as a child spending time with his mother and grandmother in the kitchen as they prepared for family gatherings and holidays.  Chef Zizka's loves experimenting with the dishes which celebrates Tennessee’s ingredients, fresh from neighboring farms and purveyors.  Come learn his secrets for easy and delicious steak recipes.
