Chef Paul Penney, CPC
Mixing Australian wit and charm with an entrepreneurial flair, Chef Paul Penney
has become a prominent fixture in Michigan’s culinary circles. After serving many years as the President of a high tech company, Chef Paul swapped out his tie for a toque in 2001 to launch Aussie in the Kitchen personal chef service.
He is a sought after presenter and teacher for Health Alliance Plan (HAP), a SE Michigan HMO doing worksite Lunch and Learn cooking programs and HealthPlus, another Michigan HMO in the Flint / Saginaw area. He has appeared on many TV segments throughout the US and is currently a regular on the Fox 2 Detroit morning show with Deena Centofanti demonstrating healthy alternative recipes.
Born in Adelaide, South Australia, Chef Paul’s formal training includes the famed Le Cordon Bleu in Ottawa, Canada, the U.S. Personal Chef Institute in Phoenix, AZ, and many other culinary classes and workshops around the country and abroad. Chef Paul lives in Canton, Michigan with his wife Sandy and daughter Emma.

In partnership with HAP, Dr. Nandi will be making some of his favorite recipes from his brand new cook book, Meals for Health Heroes, which is being released this summer. Dr. Nandi and Kali understand the daily pressures of raising a busy family and that includes cooking quick and healthy meals. as they explain the medical health benefits of their amazing recipes and show you how to incorporate fun in everyday cooking! They will be cooking up Aloo Gobi, Organic Baby Kale Salad with Roasted Butternut Squash, and Chicken Curry.

The United Dairy Industry of Michigan
(UDIM) is thrilled to be attending and exhibiting at the Michigan International Women’s Show
again this year! They will be hosting a cooking demonstration at 4:30pm on Friday at the Stonebridge Kitchen & Bath Cooking Stage where you will learn from a registered dietitian and chef how to pair tasty cheeses with different wine and beer. They are also proud to be sponsoring Mother Daughter Day on Sunday
where the first 500 guests will receive a free apron! They will be sampling cheese sticks and giving away great prizes at their exhibit space, along with showcasing their Milk Means More Instagram booth! Resident Farmer Trevor Johnson and Dietician David Schwartz
Trevor Johnson, the resident Farmer and Greenhouse Manager at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital and Henry Ford Dietician David Schwartz will help us get ready for spring with a lesson on how to prepare a healthy garden and how to use fresh herbs in your cooking. Trevor draws on more than 10 years of experience in organic agriculture to share his knowledge with those who come to experience an organic greenhouse at the hospital. Robert Hindley began his culinary career at the historical Deerfield Academy in Western Massachusetts. He honed his craft and love for food, creating exceptional dining experiences over 14 years with The Ritz-Carlton, in Naples, Florida, and Dearborn, Michigan. The hotel industry instilled the philosophies and foundation of guest satisfaction and anticipation of customer needs. His focus at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital is bringing healthy and delicious meals to patients, staff and visitors. Rob is going to demonstrate and share his favorite soup and salad recipes that are served in Henry's, the café at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. These dishes are both healthy and full of flavor! See him at the Stonebridge Kitchen & Bath Cooking Stage on Friday at 3:30pm.
