Meet the Experts

If you have been thinking about updating your family room, remodeling your kitchen, or maybe just planning a great vacation, you can meet the experts at the Southern Women’s Show.  Check back for updates as plans are confirmed.

Support Cell Phones for Soldiers

Stop by the Cellular Sales of North Carolina exhibit and support Cell Phones for Soldiers. Donate your used phone to help Cell Phones for Soldiers generate free talk time for our men and women in uniform, so that they can call home and stay connected.

Komen Lowcountry

Komen Lowcountry is the local source for funding programs that provide breast health services, breast cancer education and outreach in our Lowcountry 17 county service area.

We empower the residents in our service area with information about the importance of early detection and breast health. We donate 75 percent of net funds raised to vital local breast health services, and dedicate the remaining 25 percent to national research to find the cures.

Since 2003 Komen Lowcountry has raised over $7.5 million with over $5.8 million in local programs and $2 million in national research grants.

Stop by our exhibit at the Southern Women’s Show and ask questions, talk with our staff, sign up for the Race and support your local community.  We’ll be hosting Bingo on Pink Friday at the show and excited to be partnering with this exciting event for women.

Making Democracy Work

This November will be a historical election and the League of Women Voters of South Carolina will be part of the Southern Women's Show to make sure you are prepared.  Stop by their table and you will be able to register to vote, update your voter registration record, learn the steps for absentee voting or where you can vote in person. The League of Women's Voters is a grassroots organization that promote informed participation in the political process but does not support or oppose either candidate or political policies.

Meet the Show Photographer

We are excited to work with Scott Guy of Guy Photography as this year’s show photographer. He will be capturing all the exciting moments at the show so we can share them with you! Scott was born in Aurora, Colorado; but now resides in Charleston, S.C. Scott specializes in wedding, portraits as well photographing mans best doggie friend! His photography mantra comes from an Ansel Adams quote; "You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved." Stop by his exhibit space at the show and learn more about his work. Scott is available for travel and destination weddings.
