Laurie Hernandez

Olympic Gymnast, Laurie Hernandez, a Silver and Gold medal winner in Rio, will be appearing on stage at 5pm at the Show on Friday, September 22. Laurie, who is just 17 years old, is known for her dazzling floor exercise routine, where she has been nicknamed the "human emoji" for her outgoing facial expressions and for her grace and artistry on the balance beam. Kristin Klingshirn - The Bert Show Co-host & Entertainment News Director

Kristin is a proud member of The Bert Show. Her favorite part of being on the radio is getting to laugh and joke around with her friends every day on the air. Kristin was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, and a Wildcats fan through and through. She is also a big supporter of rescue shelters thanks to her two dogs, Parker Jones and Leeroy Brown.

This self proclaimed TV junkie, has a DVR filled with “Real Housewives” or “Dancing with the Stars” episodes. This helps her in delivering the daily the Entertainment Buzz.  She still has a sensitive side, and being a part of Bert’s Big Adventure and raising funds for pediatric brain tumor research is something she holds close to her heart.

You can never be to polished! Brush up on your Ettiquette with Cynthia R. Grosso. Her picture may look familiar as she has appeared on the Dr. Phil Show and Oprah as an etiquette expert. Cynthia is also an award winning speaker, columnist, and author who focuses on professionalism, leadership, and the skill of polish. As the founder of the Charleston School of Protocol and Etiquette, she is thrilled to share quick tips and suggestions on mastering etiquette in any situation with everyone at the show!

The Lowcountry's Favorite - Chef Nathalie Dupree

We are excited to have the Master of Southern Cooking herself joining us at the show.  Nathalie Dupree is the author of fourteen cookbooks, including two James Beard Award winners: Nathalie Dupree's Southern Memories and Nathalie Dupree's Comfortable Entertaining. Not only is she known for her cookbooks but also her television experience; she has hosted more than 300 television shows and specials that have shown nationally on PBS, The Learning Channel, and The Food Network.

Lady Joi

Lady Joi who was once known as Stormy is originally from Detroit, Michigan and is host of her own weekly show on Magic 107.3fm on Sunday mornings called “Magic Inspirations.”  Lady Joi was named one of the SC Black Pages Top 40 under 40. Lady Joi is very active in helping out with the empowerment of our youth. She believes that our generation has a responsibility to our youth of today!  Come see her Saturday from 12noon-2pm where she'll Mix it Up with Chef Bruce Rowland on the Food Lion Kitchen Stage.

Charlie James

Charlie James is a 25-year radio veteran with numerous broadcasting awards to his credit.  Currently, he's the Morning Show Host at Charleston’s WTMA News Talk from 6-10am. Charlie’s ability to listen and comment with caring, common sense and humor has earned him a loyal audience, working tirelessly to bring his listeners the latest news and information that directly affects them.  On Friday, he'll maybe show off some  of culinary skills when he hosts the Recipe Box Challenge on the Food Lion Kitchen Stage.

Bill West

Midday host Bill West, the author of the BBQ Blueprint is a Chicago native and the youngest of six kids. Bill has spent the last twenty five years in the Southeast playing country music. He's a self-proclaimed BBQ aficionado and he'll be part of the Food Lion Face Off Challenge on Sunday at the Food Lion Kitchen Stage.
